Situation
Internet giant Yahoo’s web-based show “The 9,” which features the hottest buzzworthy content on the web and attracts 4MM unique visitors per month wanted to:
- Create a week’s worth of compelling show content in a few days during Spring Break ‘08.
- Partner with like-minded brands that targeted college students.
- Successfully produce its show in Mexico.
Solution
Partnered with Yahoo! to manage executional aspects of their show’s production, including:
- Location selection and recommendation for segment filming.
- Onsite logistical support, which included securing film permits, work visas, equipment, bilingual production staff, stage build-out, and more.
- Highly-branded beach activities that maximized the brand’s presence during filming.
- Arrangement of on-air interview of band Fall Out Boy.
- Providing VIP access to local attractions and venues to maximize “behind the scenes” show content.
Results
Efforts helped to provide brand presence for Yahoo! during Spring Break and assisted in the successful filming of “The 9″:
