Marketing Program Strategist

Washington-DC, Boston, or Anywhere
Salary Band = $50,000 - $65,000


  • Recruit and train national teams of student ambassadors based on unique brand criteria
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with students and your internal account team
  • Manage and motivate student ambassadors to go above and beyond project expectations
  • Oversee and report on the remote execution of on-campus events and brand promotions
  • Monitor physical + social analytics and provide ongoing performance analysis
  • Assist account team to uphold the project timeline and deliver exceptional client service
  • Be proactive + help propose independent solutions and ideas


  • 4-year college/university degree; YMC’s entry level role
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Unrelenting attention to detail and an eye for compelling content
  • A working knowledge of digital and social media best practices

Perfect Candidate:

  • Has an entrepreneurial spirit and loves to take on new challenges
  • Has prior experience as a student ambassador or in promotional marketing
  • Understands how to navigate the campus landscape, including the management of students, administration, and key organizational stakeholders
  • Has a genuine interest in youth culture and keeps up with industry trends
  • Is a self-starter, takes pride in their work, and generally gives a damn
  • Works well independently or on a team and communicates in an open, honest manner
